Followed the sunshine over the Forth today to Culross (pronounced Coo ross) with my trusty GRD3. I thought I had my picture in the bag on the first shot of the Forth River but then I got home and liked this one a lot better. Royalty once strolled along this path, today it was me! :o)
I can see why you choose it - a very compelling image that causes the viewer to "linger" a while

What a fantastic image Karen. Great dynamic composition that gives movement and makes me feel like I'm on foot, right there! But the light and flare is superb...I have to ask - looking at the nearest stone wall on the right, is that the play of light (looking like bleached streaking) or an artefact of processing - either way its amazing...

A wonderful pathway and one that I'd be very happy to have followed. I like your pping, as always, Karen - love that blast of sun and all that it uncovered!

Like this very much. The desaturation suits the flare perfectly as in essence that's just what happens when you walk into a scene that's lit like this... is that the same C17th house in the back left? Great shot.

This is a great use of flare to illuminate an interesting subject - has the feel of early morning sun in the eyes.
