Monte Blanc - from the French side

not easy even for a Zeiss lens - but that is what this photo a day is about - using your cam and a single lens

Monte Blanc is very impressive - unfortunately few photographers can show this

Very nicely done Bill, it must have been quite challenging. I love shooting into the light and trying to make it into a keeper.

Just for interest I have been trying to find a "skylight filter" plugin to help get rid of "haze"

There is one in ColorEfx and the following is after applying it to the above

Great shot Bill, the unusual shaped sun gives it an other world feel about this image. Never been to Mont Blanc but seem to remember from my school day French classes, it featured a lot in the books we studied.

I think I like the original better, Bill, not sure the filter has made a lot of difference (or maybe its just my cruddy eyes)
