A classic use of, and control of perspective. I'd be tempted to use a little cloning to remove that white "blob" alongside the tracks towards the horizon, I know it's small, but to me the photograph would be improved if it were not there.
The leading lines are a given with railway tracks - perhaps that's why I never tire of them. Agree about the white blob - hard to ignore once it's seen.
Agree with all... RR tracks are always interesting, this is no exception. Choice of DOF is different and makes me think a bit. Once called out, the "blob" is of course where my eye goes so I have to join the ranks of the folks that would clone it out with the same as surrounding dark...
