SIJ - DAY17
A classic use of, and control of perspective. I'd be tempted to use a little cloning to remove that white "blob" alongside the tracks towards the horizon, I know it's small, but to me the photograph would be improved if it were not there.

The leading lines are a given with railway tracks - perhaps that's why I never tire of them. Agree about the white blob - hard to ignore once it's seen.

Nice contrasty lines, Phoenix - I'm glad you let the highlights stay nice and bright to lead us down the line.

Good framing!

Agree with all... RR tracks are always interesting, this is no exception. Choice of DOF is different and makes me think a bit. Once called out, the "blob" is of course where my eye goes so I have to join the ranks of the folks that would clone it out with the same as surrounding dark...

As all have said, top marks for the composition - esp.the leading lines. Love that the left track is almost dead straight!

Ditto what has already been said above. The tracks would seem to go on forever but your eyes skip off the journey once you see the white blob.
