SIJ 18-The SP
For reasons I cannot completely explain, I have wanted a Nikon SP rangefinder for a very long time, makes no sense, I will rarely shoot film again, I am not a fan of manual focus cameras anymore, there just something about the SP and its history that has always meant a lot to me. Well today while throwing any logic out the window, I bought one of the SP Limited Editions brand new in the box. Nikon made them in 2005, as a tribute to film cameras, they only made 2500 of them and now I have # 2354
HDR, ColorEfx
Lens (mm): 9.6
ISO: 400
Aperture: 2.8
Shutter: 1/280
Exp. Comp.: -0.3
Goodness me Bob and for the pretty penny they fetch today I hope that you have it under lock and key in the display cabinet....and then shooting with it with white gloves on. More than most a Leica M and later LTM.

Lovely shot though, with compelling depth of field and processing....invokes camera lust this shot does!

I bought it as a symbolic reward to myself for working in this industry for over 30 years.

Such a beautiful "machine". I love the way it looks, too, and don't blame you one bit!

Great image, Bob! Lust inducing!
