I had but a short window before this mornings rain set in at 10.45 hours. I can do little better than quote from the poem Devonshire Roads by Samuel Taylor Coleridge (and he was a Devon man) "Thro' all Confusions quagmires floundering went". This was taken at f/8, 1/30 iso 400, so pretty dull, tripod mounted and post processed in Bibble Pro 5.2.2
Rather than repeat what others have said... and I do wholeheartedly agree. I especially like the composition, including how you have used the line that our eye naturally follows as it traces the wheel tracks in the mud and the gate reflection bridges the gap perfectly.
