SIJ - 01- Reflected Gate
I had but a short window before this mornings rain set in at 10.45 hours. I can do little better than quote from the poem Devonshire Roads by Samuel Taylor Coleridge (and he was a Devon man) "Thro' all Confusions quagmires floundering went". This was taken at f/8, 1/30 iso 400, so pretty dull, tripod mounted and post processed in Bibble Pro 5.2.2

Barrie

ooh I like this. all strong and rich and sharp and contrasty; and has "good lens" stamped all over it as well as "good photographer"

I like it, Barrie, hope you had your wellies on. Looks like a horrid day to be out walking.

Rather than repeat what others have said... and I do wholeheartedly agree. I especially like the composition, including how you have used the line that our eye naturally follows as it traces the wheel tracks in the mud and the gate reflection bridges the gap perfectly.

Nice one!
