sij-04 "Fountain"

I've re-uploaded this (deleted the old one)
The sun was just outside the top left corner of the frame, so the light refracted through the water had red tint to the naked eye.
(f4.8, 1/3000s ISO160)
I think in future I'm going to upload to flickr directly and then import to this gallery from the url, as I'm not sure my colours are always as envisaged when i upload directly here.
The colours in the water coming off the fountain are amazing, is that intentional or is that part of the issue you mentioned?

Great rendition. The reds here are top-shelf....and just enough of it to really give it interest and set off the masonry just nicely. Well done

Thanks, this image is 100% intentional. The water really did have a red tint. I uploaded it to flickr and then linked the URL to this gallery.

The version I had posted yesterday seemed a bit flat, a bit dark, and the colours looked like either chroma noise or CA - I'm sure it looked good on my screen before upload, but after uploading to this gallery (where I believe perhaps the images are processed/saved accorinding to a server-side script, maybe using GDLib?) I have found the colours just seem different, but maybe it's just me and my jpegs.

The colours in the water spray is a very pretty effect. Well seen and captured.
