I'm trying to figure out what part of your country this is. So far my guess is the Northern part.
 
@marlof It's actually the northern portion of the central part; actually looking almost due north. Swiss geography is quite complicated and busy; to the north-east, you'd get into pretty flat (only moderately hilly) country, to the north-west, there's another lower mountain range, the Jura mountains. I was driving along one of the drawn-out hilltops that mark the landscape before the Alps actually start to rise. Our local mountain (you've seen it in one of the other pictures) belongs to the first line of bigger hard rock mountains that eventually make up the Alps. It only rises to some 2000 metres above sea level ;) In the central and southern Alps, the highest mountains are considerably higher than 4000 metres. I'm was at about 700 metres when I took the image ... It's quite some up and down around here ...
