Well there's a different treatment. I might have selected a slightly different moment so that your daughter wasn't directly in front of the tree, perhaps a second or two before so that the tree was still there, but just in front of her, but difficult with shutter lag and a moving subject, as I know with my buses!
Just a quick note... Barrie, true, if I'd set anything up that would have been a good idea but no set ups for me. I am pretty much a fly by the seat of my pants photographer. Can't catch a moment otherwise.
I actually prefer a version I did in color.. http://www.seriouscompacts.com/f94/seen-while-strolling-walking-wandering-outside-5647/index4.html#post58861
Neither one is "realistic" but I think we as the picture makers are allowed poetic license.
And yes, it was a great stroll not freezing and moments where the sun burst through.
Thank you all so much for your comments. I know there are a lot of photos in here!
She looks sooooo happy BB. What ever did you say to her? It's not only the smile that gives it away but the fact you caught her in the middle of a tippy-toe two-step....quite the pose you caught her in there.
