SIJ - Day 28 Two old "sea-dogs"
Just after sunrise this morning I took a short bus ride into Kingsbridge. From the bus I saw three men working on the slipway on the opposite shore. It turned out they were sorting out the rigging on their "Cornish Shrimper" prior to stepping the mast and launching the boat.
Permission was readily given to take a few photographs. I'm not sure that this is the absolute best, but at least they are doing some work.
When I left Kingsbridge about 90 minutes later the boat was rigged and in the water.
another good'un to add to the documentary collection ... I think slightly darker tones than you usually use, which I rather like

I'd love to see your series of people/street shots in a single thread Barrie.

Another great addition to an already great series Barrie.

Love the tones and texture throughout this shot...as well as the reflections off the boat's hull - it all screams of being by the seaside. Also the composition is classic and works so strongly. Kathy hit the nail on the head with this - that everything looks like it's pointing to the water. A good observation on her, and obviously your, behalf!

I also think your angle of view was very good, Barrie.

You're definitely building a collection!
