SIJ - Day 31
Dogs looking like their 'masters'

Well I wish I had his Steiff-brand cuteness, but alas I work with what I have...and what both time and I have done to myself.

But Dougal well and truly symbolises me at this point in the challenge. A little tired, a little dishevelled and with little sight left in front of me.

It has been a pleasure spending each of these 31 days with every one of you. But like you, and Dougal it's time for a nap and a long hot bath....

Very cool shot to end this event with, really cute dog,
Thanks for steering us through this month, well done

that's a great shot of a very cute little dog :) the detail in his fur is superb!

And indeed, thanks for getting this challenge up and running, it's been a joy!

Dougal looks as though he's a wonderful fellow - and Mark, we already know you are. Thank you so much for all your behind and in front of the scene efforts and your unflagging encouragement throughout.

I love this (self) portrait and wish I could go for a walk across the fields with you and yours...avoiding that visiting bull, however.

Beautiful saturated colors and a very handsome dog, indeed!

the details pop. I lean heavily on hitting the "Fave" button for dog photos in general, but this one is extra special. What a handsome lad he is....and the colors are gorgeous.

Congrats on reaching the end. It's been a pleasure getting to know you.

What a cool looking dog!

Mark, thank you so much for putting the SIJ together and seeing it through. It has been a very worthwhile experience, not in small part because of your very kind and insightful comments on mine and everybody else's photographs. I have really enjoyed your extraordinary photo work and hope that you will continue to share it with us, even if not on a daily basis.

P.S. Film February sounds like a great idea, but please not a photo a day....

Great shot of a very cute dog!! thanks for all your hardwork Mark, the challenge wouldnt be as successful as it was if not for all your hardwork. It was challenging (hence the name) but also fun and I feel that I'm a better photographer because of it. I was very happy I participated in it.
