SIJ - Day 5
Bit of a struggle for my day five. I'd taken my safeties in the morning, and thought they'd do the trick. Busy, then, for the rest of the day with driving to town and then the city to get supplies for humans and horses. With dying light I thought I'd process the day's images and found the safeties didn't really quite cut it. I peked through the curtains and saw that the house was enveloped in a deep fog. So I rugged up - well mainly rugged the camera up to avoid penetration by water (we all need a decent WR compact system!).

Liked this shot best of my front paddock. Mowed down a few days ago, I though it provided some interesting shapes and lines.

I'll tell you, Mark, you have the most beautiful property I have ever seen. I like both versions, but you know you could bring up the color one much more with some pping... However, I know you were after the mood, the fog and the mystery...so your black and white works beautifully.

Also looks much like New England second cut, late summer. Nice lines indeed... and great mood. Black and white suits this very much. Here that hay would be done in and only fit for bedding - not feed. Sorry for your loss if indeed it was a loss!

Nice one Mark, although I agree with BBW. I think the colour version would be great also with a bit of PP - maybe darken the shade of green a bit?
