I tried so very hard to focus exclusively on the ice but without having a tripod handy it wouldn't fly, so I played it safe.
I like this, nice composition with the water drops on the leaves and the ice. But. why is the ice purple? That actually adds to the picture, a bit of intrigue.
The snow is purple because I'm a klutz but I think you're correct - it does add a little something. That something ain't reality but hey, it's pretty. ;)
I just read about a project where one was taking pictures of ice fishing cabins. He had to recolor a lot of yellow snow around the cabins... It makes you wonder what could make snow purple in real life. It gives an out of this world feel.
