This is the Riverside Museum on the River Clyde. The ship is the Glenlee whose maiden voyage in Dec 1896 took her from Glasgow - Liverpool - Portland, Oregon.
Thanks guys. Again, right place, right time scenario - zero cropping on the image so I must have framed it just right. Lampposts on either side of the frame and railings running from left to right directly in front on my side of the river made it quite difficult to frame properly.
