SIJ - Day10

"Something Old Something New"

Just received a bunch of new parts today, and was able to take advantage of a short window for painting the reflective surfaces of the taillight buckets, and the parking light housings seen in the day 5 photo.

This shot shows a few of the new parts mixed in with more that are awaiting restoration, and the parking light housings. I know it's a stretch, but I needed something for day 10. :-)

Taken with the Canon S95 at 35mm equiv. Processed in LR3.5 and Nik SEP with a Kodak Plus-X 125 PX Pro film sim, and green filter.
I am really enjoying your giving us a glimpse into the process of restoring a vintage automobile. Beautiful and interesting series of photographs.

My workbench look just like this now except it motorcycle parts. :) Nicely captured.

Great series Otto. So many pieces to a car that I didn't even realise  I'm, not a details man myself so this is enlightening. I fear if I restored a car it would just end up looking like a billy-cart
