As an ex-smoker, I look upon this scene wistfully, even after 10 years away. A coffee and a smoke was a pleasurable experience, despite how bad it was for me.
Really well done, Phoenix - simplicity at its best, thanks to your eye and your exposure. The lighting and that barely visible wisp of smoke make it all happen.
