Very tranquil Kathy. There really is something about snow...I hope you Northerners don't take it too for granted - or malign it
I'm loving your series as it reminds me of my short time visiting Ottawa a year or so ago....well obviously a little over a year as it was nice and warm then and I remember this area having a few more folks jogging around this spot...
Nice composition, and indeed great job on the exposure and tones!
Stillshunter, I think most people really enjoy the first few days of snow and the magical look and the sound underneath your feet and all, but if it lasts for a long time, it does get annoying because everything takes so much longer (and it can be really dangerous when it gets compacted by cars into black ice!).
I had a feeling this was yours, Kathy. This scene has a kind of Japanese influence to my eyes...just as some of Van Gogh's paintings did. The tree bending to the reaching out towards the bridge... Beautifully seen and a lovely bright snowy day translated wonderfully in black and white, Kathy. I wish we'd get a few inches of snow!
