    Fuji Ken Rockwell on X-T2...

I may be a bit slow, but I never thought of the pro in X-Pro2 as a reference to professional. If it is indeed such a reference, then it is the first camera I have had that has any meaning baked into the model name. GX8, EM-1, GF1, LX3 and not talk about the Canon 400D - was that one not called a...

    Fuji Ken Rockwell on X-T2...

A pro,as in professional means just that. If someone is professional, thats how they make a living presumably having a photography business. It is definitely not how "good" they are. Good is purely subjective. Of the examples mentioned above, subject 1 and presumably 2 are pros. I doubt...

    Fuji Ken Rockwell on X-T2...

Gee, every time there is a new Fuji camera, we have to deal with this Rockwell-nonsense? He alienated me (or I him??) after his X-Pro2 "review".

Fuji New X-Pro2 Firmware improves AF during video??

No you are right about that. Hope they make it so that I can change focus while filming anyway .

Fuji New X-Pro2 Firmware improves AF during video??

Hi, I know Fuji will update the AF on the X-Pro2 in the next firmware. Does anyone know if the AF during movie-mode also will be updated? Seems to me some functions can be added, most notably AF-S during recording (now you have to focus before you start the recording). I assume the X-T2 has...

Fuji Freedom aka small is beautiful and goodbye EVF lenses (X-Pro2)

Yupp, and thats the reason I sold the zoom and the 90. When using these lenses I could have used any mirrorless camera and it would feel the same (not entirely true, but you get my point). OVF is the reason I bought X-pro2 and I want to use it even more.

Fuji Freedom aka small is beautiful and goodbye EVF lenses (X-Pro2)

I dont know about this, but then again I jus found out that you can manually change magnification, although that prevents the camera from automatically change it unless you hot-swap the lenses.

Fuji Freedom aka small is beautiful and goodbye EVF lenses (X-Pro2)

Today I sold my EVF lenses (16-55 2.8 and 90 mm f2) and I feel free again, much like I felt when I first picked up a X-Pro1 and the 18/F2. I realise that it was a wrong path to go down the EVF route with my X-Pro2, I have only the 18/F2 and 35/F2 left. Since I blow some serious GAS, I need...

Fuji Showcase Fujinon 100-400mm WR samples

Guys you are going to cost me a lot of money! Interesting to hear from drocco, who has used both this and the PanaLeica 100-400. Do you feel the IQ is better, the AF tracking? Please elaborate :)

Fuji Fast prime lens on X-Pro1

So the consensus is that the best lenses are 16/1.4, 23/1.4, 35/2 or 1.4, 90/2 and 56/1.4? There is actually a used 90mm for sale here now, if only I wasn´t limited to EVF, but WR is an advantage. Would you guys say that the 16 is better than the 23, or is that splitting hairs?

Fuji Fast prime lens on X-Pro1

I think I agree with this, I´d rather keep my 18 for now. As for the 23, I really don´t see much of a practical difference in focal length between the 18 and the 23. I do fear that the 56 is going to sit on the shelf a lot, I got the 75 1.8 for m43 which also is a strange focal length, I don´t...

Fuji Fast prime lens on X-Pro1

Hi, I want to add one fast lens to my X-Pro1 setup. I currently have the 18/F2 and 35/F2. I have been looking at the 56 1.2 but I do not normally shoot a lot of portraits. The 56 would be a short telephoto lens for me, which I guess is ok although WR would have been preferable? Alternatively I...

Fuji Has anyone made the switch from Micro 4/3 to a Fuji X?

I have had several m4/3 cameras including OMD-EM5, OMD-EM1 and recently the Panasonic GX8. All are fast and responsive. I still have my GM1, so I am not completely forgetting that system. I bought a used X-Pro1 with 18 F2 and 35 F2 to test the waters. What draws me to Fuji over M4/3 is the style...
