Thanks John, for your reply. I wasn’t aware that you had problems from such an early age. My back has been weak for many years but suddenly it’s given up. The consultant has suggested an operation may be the answer, but at my age I’ll put up with the pain. How do you manage your pain? Ian

With my back still causing problems and the consultant prescribing a morphine patch which I am collecting on Tuesday I am confined to hobbling around the garden looking at the weeds springing up. All in all somewhat disheartening😟
