Pentax Boring - or Why I like my K-7

That will be an interesting camera when it hits the shelf. I must admit I like the E-P1 as a "bootleg" camera. If the Sigma DP1/DP2 had better video performance, I would have been all over a DP2 though. I'm curious to see if Sigma stuff that newer Foveon in an updated version.

First foray into RAW processing. The good & the odd.

If you want the open source competitor of P.S., take a look at GIMP 2.6.11 at GIMP - The GNU Image Manipulation Program I primarily use CS3 but over the years, adobe has started to annoy me kind of like paying Al Capone protection money.

    Hello from Florida

Thanks for the link, and thanks to everyone to the hello. I also thank Javier for pointing out this site to me. I have been looking for a good compact site equivalent to the dSLR site and the vintage site I hang out on. I'll tell Mrs. Blue about the site.

Nikon Is a Nikon D5000 considered a 'Small DSLR'?

Agreed. I believe there is as much a niche for small form dSLR as there are other camera niches such as the fixed lens compacts and mirrorless interchangeable cameras. While the LX3 and E-P1 are amazing little cameras and quite capable, I prefer the dSLR in many situations.

Canon Just bought a Canon s95

It should on the LX3 and LX5 and the Leica equivalents.

Nikon Is a Nikon D5000 considered a 'Small DSLR'?

I have a *istD which is about as small as it gets for a aps-c dSLR with a prism vs. a pentamirror. However, I find it somewhat "substantial" compared to my E-P1. I find my E-P1 somewhat "substantial" compared to my wife's LX3. So, I guess it is relative.

    Hello from Florida

My wife has an LX3 as her primary digital camera and I have an E-P1 as my main compact.
