I only realised that after I copied the files to my laptop. I'm guessing it's a small piece of dust on the lens that I've blown it off after the trip, because I can't seem to reproduce it now. Will definitely make a visit to the service centre if it pops up in the future... fingers crossed.
A set of five images from my Phuket trip... due to a regression in DxO Optics Pro after the firmware update, I am compelled to do my RAW editing in-camera. The RAW development tool works wonders, results are extremely positive (pun intended for those with the 'Positive Film' effect)...
The change in the Exif tag for camera manufacturer has affected DxO Optic Pro's handling of the GR's DNG files, they are already looking into it...

The GM1 gives the (original) RX100 a serious run for the money, considering that both are lacking tilting LCDs and hotshoes. The RX100 Mk II should still feel safe - despite the same price tag - for potential buyers who really buy into either or both features.
