Micro 4/3 Neato pancake lens: Olympus 14-42 EZ

Thanks for that, that's a nice combo. I go with a similar idea and philosophy, ie. too many cameras, all smallish, compromises galore. I plunked the Panasonic pancake zoom on the gsx for a similar approach, but then sort of ruined it with a vf2 viewfinder. But the day you don't have a camera...

File this under: Take a camera everywhere

I always user to carry a camera in my bike bag. Then one day into my minimalist lightweight phase, I didn't. That's when I cycled by a milk float stuck in a tree... That still haunts me 15 years later, so, yeah, agreed Jock plus one.

    Micro 4/3 Throwback kit

You could be on your way to redefining the ultimate two/three lens set up. Best of luck. I got the 2300 and later the 31st, so could never quite justify the e500. Like you though,I always wondered... Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk

Fuji A Question for those who have suffered the SABs

Oh dear, I just did get it. Looks like I will be stuck at f2, 1000th sec, 100iso and nd filter on. Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk

Panasonic Any Love for the Old LX3 Anymore?

Just grabbed mine for overnight hike with my son, it is still a lovely camera. Wouldn't be my first choice for landscapes, until I have to carry it, then it barges right past the x100 with ounces to spare.

    Fuji Inconsistent exposure on x100

Late post, but… Same problem with overexposure and not SAB. The camera meters 1/20, f8, iso200, in bright sun. Crazy overexposure. (App priority) What's stranger, it ups the ante in manual focus and tries to convert every photo into a snowy wasteland.

    Fuji a moment of silence

A beach in Sussex, England, was pretty much where I discovered photography on an old Canon s50. The light and shadow, the textures of stones and weatherbeaten woodwork, playing with waves and shutter speeds. Blew my mind. But lying there... no, me neither, unless I'm asleep. But rum on the...

Fuji Can anyone lend me a few bob 'til payday...?

Um, oly e300, bunch of legacy lenses (such as 50mm 1.8, a 135, 28, a tamron 70-200, which is 400mm on the Olympic) and a sigma 18-55 in case I need a shot to be in focus. Old school, cheap, fun and fantastically heavy [emoji1]

Canon An Ode to the Canon G7

I loved the s50 -- it taught me how to take photos. When it died I bought a second hand g5 and I still occasionally shoot with it. Never met anyone who didn't like the g5. So +1 for cameras with a g
