Ricoh Highlight Diffusion Filter Replacing ND Filter In GRIII/x Submodels

Thatā€™s for sure Steve. They canā€™t impact the size. Thatā€™s why I suggested both the sealing and lcd, both which should be able to added with impact. Also why an add-on EVF makes a lot of sense.

Ricoh Highlight Diffusion Filter Replacing ND Filter In GRIII/x Submodels

John, maybe you can clarify your question for the debate. I took it the same way as @AndyH44 in the what can be done to the next gen GR to make it better than what it currently is. If that was the ask, then I would also say weather sealing and a Fuji X100V flush flip LCD would be huge...

Ricoh Highlight Diffusion Filter Replacing ND Filter In GRIII/x Submodels

Saw this too. Definitely did not expect it, but mist filters are all the rage these days... Also surprised Ricoh would invest more into this gen of GR's, considering they are selling out of them in most places. Would think the R&D be better served on the much desired GR4.

Fuji Fuji X100VI coming Feb 20th

I should have done the same, but dragged my feet and only ordered a few days after the announcement, but with a smaller retailer. Expecting (hoping) to get it late this month. Weā€™ll see.

GAS GEAR: Please Share your Latest Disposals Big and Small

I should have been more clear - I was referring specifically to image quality. The Q lens is much better than the one in the V, both in quality and performance. The FF sensor is also better in most scenarios, although the Fuji one is likely better at high ISO and highlight retention. As an...

GAS GEAR: Please Share your Latest Disposals Big and Small

Same reasons I've pre-ordered the X100VI. Although not an inexpensive camera, it is much less than the Q series and offers a great feature set in a more compact package. For me, lens depth is the most critical dimension to factor in when looking at camera size, as it adds the most volume when...

Fuji Fuji X100VI coming Feb 20th

congrats @Alberta Dave ! I didn't make the cut for the first batch, so waiting on the next delivery. My camera store is telling me they expect to fill all pre-orders by April/May. Hoping I'm not too far down in the queue...

Fuji Fuji X100VI coming Feb 20th

Well, I just placed a pre-order for the X100VI. Not sure if I'll get the first batch at this point, but wanted to get in queue to see what happens. We have a beach vacation coming up the end of April and think this could be a great camera to cover most uses - compact, weather resistant, flash...

Fuji Fuji X100VI coming Feb 20th

Price is $1599 USD. I really like the updated offering. The V was good, but adding the higher res on a fixed lens camera allows flexibility for crop in. IBIS is also another great addition for an everyday camera imo - less need for a tripod.

Fuji Fuji X100VI coming Feb 20th

First leaked pictures: https://www.fujirumors.com/leaked-first-pixelated-images-of-fujifilm-x100vi-unveil-no-d-pad/ Looks very similar to the V, with only a couple minor changes, as expected. Hard to tell from the first pic, if that's a gunmetal type colour, or just odd lighting on a black...
