I have both lenses. Since getting the 16-55, it has become my main lens. You need to get a feel for it in your hand to really decide, but although it's big, it's still comfortable to work with. They are aware of the problem, that's why they came out with the replacement kit. To fix it they'd have to redesign the camera. I'm going to call Fuji tomorrow to ask how this affects the WR.

I got a replacement kit for the terminal cover. Then put a piece of gaffers tape over it. I was out one day shooting and didn't realize the tape had come off until I noticed that the new cap was gone too. Not sure what missing the cap does for the WR, but I'd bet the threads are way too shallow...

I have the 55-200 and just recently got the 50-140. I almost always shoot on the wide side, hardly ever shoot long. But when I did, I found the 55-200 somewhat lacking because of the focus speed and chromatic aberration. Although the 50-140 is a much larger lens, having come from behemoth Nikon...

Dropped the camera off yesterday at Fuji repair in NJ. Got a call today to come pick it up, all fixed. Had to replace the motherboard. And they gave me a new battery to boot. Couldn't ask for better service and consideration.

Xt1 defect Thx, I suspected it might be the internal backup battery. Will call Fuji tomorrow. Luckily I have my xp1 as a backup camera.

Hi Rico, I just ran into this peculiar behavior this afternoon. I changed the battery in my XT1, and when I turned the camera back on all my settings, both set-up and shooting, were reset to default settings and the camera asks me to set the date. I set everything up and did some shooting...
