Now that more reviews are out, the G1XmkII seems to have way too many issues with it. I got an Olympus XZ-2 and saved $500 and probably a lot of aggravation, and the images I'm taking look just as good as what I've seen from the G1XmkII. Right now, I think the XZ-2 is the best bang for the buck...

Let's hope Fuji's rumored X30 comes with a new and improved 2/3" sensor and a fast 24-200 mm high quality lens. Right now, the rumored Nikon P8000 is the only camera with the specs I am looking for. I hope Nikon perfects it before they release it and puts a bit of the RX100mk3 and G1Xmk2 in it...

Every time I see a camera that has this: 16 Megapixel – BSI CMOS 1/2.3”, I immediately dismiss it. They can give it 9-axis IBIS, Full HD 120p, 1200x zoom, etc... There is just NO WAY a sensor that size crammed with that many MP's is going to have good enough (IMO) IQ. I don't know of one now...

How much are you willing to spend, what do you think it is worth? I picked one up at B&H for $299 and got about $50 of free accessories. I see it is back up to $599 right now, that's crazy! It's only $291.89 & FREE Shipping on Amazon right now.
