Misty conditions. Went out today with my "newest" toy, the Vivitar F2,8/24mm FD, mounted on my Nex 3. I loved the way the mist softened the overall scene and I only applied some toning to give it a warmer approach. Sharpness looks great for this 40 dollar lens.

Not exactly. The biggest problem was aligning the three bottles, so the separate flows would melt together in the glass. It took several attempts. One of the advantages of digital.:wink:

Divine light... I know...its a cliché but I couldn't resist. :wink: Nex 3 with E 18-55 OSS.

Not much, Jason. I used a 8x ND filter to get a exposure in the 30 seconds range. The glow on the water was anticipated because of the moon, shedding it's light on the scene. I converted the shot in LR and applied a split-tone.

Beach scenes Went to the beach this morning. Bad weather often makes it interesting, right? :wink: Divided sea. Seaweed and shells. Both taken with the Nex 3 and E 18-55 OSS.

Thanks Andy. I only use natural light from a north facing window. Sometimes I diffuse it with a role of transparent paper. To create shadows and add depth I used 4 large (3 feet diameter ) reflectors. Sometimes a small mirror to lighten up small areas. That's it :smile:

Just shaved off a notch from the bottom. There was just a bit to much darkness down there. Thanks for the nice comments.:smile:

Still Life of Onions,Garlic and Oil.... When it gets to setting up the NEX as a studio camera using the flipped screen as a ground glass I think this little gem really hits all the marks.
