Dear all,
I have a nasty feeling my XT-1 is faulty.....again.
Can someone confirm that the Frame No. amount shown in the viewfinder should go above 1000 in JPEG only mode? I have a 128GB card that shows the same number of available frames whether I am in RAW mode, JPEG mode, RAW+JPEG etc...
I should add that I don't see the symbol when I am focusing. I understand that it won't show all the time.
Pls let me know if I'm doing something wrong or whether there is a fault.
M
All/Rico,
I have the OIS setting set to 'when shooting' but can't see the symbol in the viewfinder.....am I doing something stupid or is there a fault? When I turn off OIS on my lens then the 'OIS Off' symbol does appear, but as said, it doesn't appear when OIS is turned on......
Thanks
M
Quote from the review I'm referring too:

The only drawback to the continuous focus mode of the X-T1 is that at the 8fps continuous high mode it only uses the central 9 focus points. This can be very limiting, although for much wildlife and sports photography this is usually...
RIco,
There seems to be some conflicting reviews on the web at the moment regarding AF performance of the XT1.
The latest review that I have seen on Fuji Rumours states that when using AF-C and 8 fps then the centre 9 AF points offer predictive tracking whereas when using 3 fps all the AF...
If you already own the XE-2, is the AF performance of the XT1 really that much better.
I know ergonomics etc are different so I don't want to focus on that. The most important factor for me is the AF-S focus speed and the predictive nature of AF-C.
Thanks
Mark
Hi guys,
I am in the process of doing my first Photo Book and I have a question that I hope you can help with.
When exporting to a JPEG, Lightroom gives you 3 sharpening settings, one for gloss, one for matte and one for screen.
I am hoping to use Lustre Photographic paper for my Photo...
I am serioulsy considering this for the PREDICTIVE tracking capabilities of the XT1.
If you are buying the XT1 and already own the XE2, what are your resasons for doing so?
Thanks!
Mark
Not neccesarily. I have read elsewhere that the Predictive AF Tracking is only available on Firmware Update 1.2 and that this has only been shared with a few reviewers and therefore not for general release yet.
Rico - are you able to comment on this? Is Predictive AF incorporated under...
