    Fuji 16\1.4 or 16-55\2.8?

How about 16 f/1.4 + the kit lens 18-55 f/2.8-4.0? Just my 2 cents (even though I'm not a Fuji user anymore)

Fuji Went to a camera store with one purpose and then this happened...

That's a very good remark you are making there, KillRamsey. In all honesty, I hadn't been aware that AF played an important role to me. In fact, it was just in that store, when I was fiddling around with Fuji, that I realized it actually did. Not that it would stop me from taking a decent...

Fuji Went to a camera store with one purpose and then this happened...

I went to a camera store today and spent 2 hours chatting with some folks about Fuji. Had a chance to hold X-T20, X-Pro2, X-T2, X-E3 and a X100F. I also had a chance to fiddle with Sony A7r2. I definitely love the joystick on the X-E3 but not so much on the X-T2 (not sure why but it definitely...

Fuji Went to a camera store with one purpose and then this happened...

I definitely saw mushiness and lack of sharpness in the files coming from X-T1, which was a real shame because I loved the feel the camera offered. And that "feel" still attracts me to Fuji, for better or worse; that's why I was (or am) hoping that X-T2/X-T20 sensor somehow managed to get rid of...

Fuji Went to a camera store with one purpose and then this happened...

Hi Will and thanks for the post. My X-T1 was paired with that kit lens and I really disliked the results. I mean... I don't have a single (sic!) picture of a landscape with foliage from that period that I'm happy about. Mushy greens were infuriating. Wish I could just rent both cameras and...

Fuji Went to a camera store with one purpose and then this happened...

Hello there, I went to a local camera store with a printed email (I had inquired about the prices and got some decent discounts) to buy a Sony A7r2 with 1 or 2 small lenses. Heavy heart accompanied me as the thought of spending a lot while still being invested in my m43 gear rambled in my mind...

Fuji Showcase Fujifilm XF 18-55 f/2.8-4 R LM OIS Zoom

Hello! How did you manage to achieve that toy-ish look of the car? The first time I glanced at that pic I thought it was like a diorama and the car was just a matchbox toy! :-)

Fuji Is X-T2 prone to flares and should I go to FF?

Hello there, I keep hearing about some kind of issue with flares that X-T2, supposedly, suffers from. Can anyone shed some light on it? Another thing and much bigger than the first question... I've been shooting E-M5mk2 for a while now and while I love that camera, I would like to have a...

    Fuji Thinking about leaving m4/3

Looks like we're in the same boat except that I don't have that many lenses in m4/3, so I'm not so deeply invested in it. I am considering getting the 75mm Oly, though. I'd go for a Fuji X-T20, but I keep hearing from people that Fuji cameras are optimized for portraits (skin tones!) and not so...

Fuji Does X-T20 suffer from shutter shock?

Dear Users, Since X-T2 is a bit out of my reach for the time being, I've been pondering over getting an X-T20. I've been digging in the Internet and searching for images, reviews, and whatnot, and yesterday I found some comments on DPreview (from users, not the reviewers) saying that X-T20...

Fuji X-T2 geared towards portraiture? What about mushy landscapes?

Olympus? I kinda see some noise there. I might be wrong though. As I said, I love Olympus, but for me it's the sensor that breaks the deal here... EDIT: Fuji ;)

Fuji X-T2 geared towards portraiture? What about mushy landscapes?

Thanks a bunch KillRamsey! Appreciate that! I'm having such a hard time deciding if Fuji is the way to go. The thing that makes me a bit hesitant is the lack of in-body IS system. Then again, my Olympus has IS but those 16MPixels and a small-sh sensor don't really float by boat either.

Fuji X-T2 geared towards portraiture? What about mushy landscapes?

Thank you for the answers and sorry for the typos in the previous post. I assume that in case of SOOC JPEGs the issue of foliage rendering doesn't exist?

Fuji X-T2 geared towards portraiture? What about mushy landscapes?

Thanks for the answers. Well, it's not like a blindly follow each and every review on youtube, but there used to be quite a lot of chatter about how X-T1 couldn't handle green areas. I remember that some of the pictures taken with my X-T1 weren't too impressive in terms of rendition of foliage...

Fuji X-T2 geared towards portraiture? What about mushy landscapes?

Dear Users, I keep hearing from video (youtube) reviewers that X-T2 makes a great portrait-work camera, and not necessarily an equally great landscape-work camera. Is it really so? Is X-T2 geared towards portraiture? Has Fuji dealt with the problem X-T1 had, i.e. mushy green areas? I'm really...
