For what it's worth, I tend to agree with Bill Palmer's assessment. If you can afford it, a used M7 (despite the battery appetite) is a very easy camera to own and use. For some reason it is rather looked down upon for being "too complicated", with most people seeming to favour an M6 or earlier...

Fast, mean and simply stunning
Hi everyone,
I have just joined the forum thanks to encouragement from Lightmancer with whom I cooperate on my photography site, Macfilos.com.
By way of introduction, here is a link to an article I wrote a couple of weeks ago on my experiences with the X-T1 and 27mm lens for street work. It...
Nice series, Andy. Borough Market really is one of my favourites but there are so many nice welcoming markets in the East End. Sometimes, though, there are more photographers and tourists than serious shoppers.

My first day testing the Fuji X100S and I found this Korean TV reporter capturing the picturesque High Street in Whitstable, Kent. Impressed with the OOC jpegs.
An outing for my M and 35mm Summilux at London's ancient Borough Market earlier today. The market dates back to "at least" 1014 and is now the foremost food market in London, with the strong emphasis on gastronomic delights from around the world. See my full review at Macfilos Photo.
This could be a posed shot but it isn't. It's a typical street scene, unrehearsed, from the old town of Mykonos in the Greek Cyclades. Used as part of my review of the Leica Monochrom. Taken with Monochrom and 75mm APO Summicron.
Map at Minehead, Somerset in England. This sculpture marks the start of the South West Coast Path. Taken with Leica M and 35mm Summilux FLE. Macfllos.com
