Fuji 56mm F1.2 Long Term Review
Fuji's X-system has earned an excellent reputation for its optics in the couple of years since its inception - there's not a single mediocre lens for the mount. Still, though the system launched with an excellent set of primes, the absence of a dedicated...
The 16mm f1.4 will be very exciting. Hard to gests glass that wide and that fast, especially with the Fuji quality we can expect. Pretty disappointing the 90mm F2 doesn't have O.I.S. though - that already made the 56mm a little problematic for low light compared to the M4/3 options I was used to.
Fuji got its X-mount off to a great start by using a top-down approach, appealing to enthusiasts and street photographers with fast primes before catering to more general users. As such, one notable gap in the lens line-up was the lack of a jack-of-all trades superzoom. Likewise, the X-T1 was...
The thing I have to note about the FZ1000 compared to similar ILC kits is that the lens IQ on it actually seems to be better than the equivalent ILC options... All these images look spectacularly sharp.
I didn't notice the omission of a touch screen. That's rather unfortunate, as using the...
Really does sound like a great camera. It's unfortunate that, according to dpreview, the aperture drops off rather quickly after the widest setting, but it would also be ludicrous to expect Panasonic to fit a longer zoom lens of the same brightness in the same size sensor and body as an RX10. IQ...

Fuji X-T1 Field Review: Fuji Goes Pro
Fuji's X-T1 has probably been the most anticipated camera of 2014 so far. The X system has already established a strong following thanks to its old-school approach to photography, with a retro design and plethora of...

I have to say, the more I get used to the tool's quirks and lean to work around them, the more I'm impressed. Effective resolution on the camera is still too low and I do need to make patches here and there to where the algorithm gets it wrong, but I think it actually does some of the best work...
There's a great promotion over on B&H, where you can get both the Zeiss 32mm F1.8 and the 12mm F2.8 for lenses for $919 combined (you need to scroll down some):

Savings on the X-E2 and some lens bundles at Adorama. Some of these bundles bring pretty useful items, so definitely worth a check if you're in the market for an X-E2!

I think it's an interesting topic/possibility because at the end of the day, small sensors are most limited by their DoF flexibility in practical usage (acknowledging that 'small' is a subjective term here). Every other area seems to constantly improve, but in everyday usage, the lack of DoF...
