Luke, absolutely right. I bet in a 'blind' test I bet I would not be able to tell the difference. But there's just a little bit of me that worries that I WOULD be able to tell. Something about the feel of the shot when you have picture review switched on in the viewfinder that I daren't lose....

Actually I quite like the sound of that. I like to use the OVF whenever possible on the X100 but you don't always know if focus is in the correct area.... you can guess that its in the right ball park based on the focus distance indicator or using the focus lock box, but it's not always...

Been a while since I posted. Took this shot yesterday as I drove through Snowdonia National Park with my 5 year old in tow. As I had a 5 year old in tow I had about 2 minutes to park up, snap, and be on my way again. Most of my shots are of my kids, landscapes are something I rarely do...

Indeed they can. In some places they will only serve you more than one pint if you are a regular - and they know you can handle it.

It's all I've used in the last two years, and I suspect all I'll use for the next two, at least.

+1. A shot will have to go some in 2014 to go ahead of Philly ay Sunset as my favourite of the year.

As an expression of 'light' contrition, I personally think it is quite a handy expression. "My fault" seems a little harsh. "My bad" seems to work nicely when no real harm has been done, and the error in question can be easily passed off.
