    Micro 4/3 OM-1 Mk2

Thanks for the reply, but I had already done that and see no reference to his "notes". Do you mean that petition? If not, can you tell me which of the many links in that area you are referring to, please.

How would I do that? I don't see any reference to his notes, and I sure don't want to listen to a 2 hour video.

    Micro 4/3 OM-1 Mk2

I think that the only people who are likely to be tempted are those like myself who are still using an E-M1.3 or .2 and the additional improvements to the OM-1 might be enough to entice them to take the plunge. Um, probably not, at least in my case.

    Micro 4/3 Panasonic's in-camera Monochrome filter/s

Very informative reply, Miguel. It does explain to me quite well why you are doing what you are doing. I certainly agree that having to experiment every time you want to convert your images to that look in PP software would be a non-starter. I guess I was just thinking that it would be...

    Micro 4/3 Panasonic's in-camera Monochrome filter/s

I like all these nifty photos, and the people taking them are much more advanced and have a better eye than I ever will. However, I am completely mystified by this talk about using in-camera processing like this to achieve a particular look. I mean, why not just shoot color (RAW would be...

Micro 4/3 To OM-1 or To G9 II

I don't think you can judge anything about such a pixel-peep level of performance in a YouTube video. I don't understand why they even post such snippets. I think we will have to wait for true resolution versions like they used to post on Dpreview (or at least 100% crops) to really see if there...

I'm interested in a G9II, but somehow I doubt if there will be any good deals on it yet. I can wait...

Micro 4/3 Not even a rumour

It's kind of obvious that we need Panasonic to make an APS-C version of the S5II to round out the set, right?!? 😛

Micro 4/3 Not even a rumour

Yes, they are the same body (except for the fortunate removal of the fan, which saves some weight), as has been reported now in many reviews. Kind of large...🙁

Micro 4/3 Not even a rumour

It's considerably fatter, I think. Only remaining question seems to be whether it's a somewhat scaled-down S5II or the same body.

Micro 4/3 Remote trigger compatible Panasonic AND Olympus EM1X

My guess is that if the plug that goes into the camera is the same with Oly and Pany, there MIGHT be cross-system compatibility. I am scratching my head as to how it even works with seemingly all types of Oly cameras - new OMS models, a little older E-M5.3 and E-M1.3 (with the Canon-like pin)...

Micro 4/3 Remote trigger compatible Panasonic AND Olympus EM1X

I think you could use a system like this (from B&H): https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1628860-REG/vello_fwp_o_freewave_plus_wireless_remote.html It works for up to 320' and works with OM-1 and OM-5, plus EM1X, as far as I can see. I'm sure there are other brands that would do the trick.

Micro 4/3 Lens For Close Up Videography

To get those levels of magnification, you'd probably use a teleconverter or a close-up lens. The rule of thumb is: With an extension tube, the lower the focal length, the MORE effect it has. The longer the lens, the less effect it has. So, to get a big effect on a lens like a 400mm, you need a...
