Those are actually very ancient varieties which are not as productive as the usual ones and therefore abandoned by modern agricullture. Rightmost are Zucchinis !!! Horrible to look at but delicious !
Thanks for watching.
Here are the heirloom vegetables that are going to make my supper along with some good toasted bread and a good book. RX1R natural light from kitchen window. Click on image to see fullsize.
OMG !!! :-) I want one of these guys traveling in my car to help lift the car if a tire gets punctured :-)
PS I had never seen this "ball lifting" thing. Is it traditional / specific of a given region / culture ?
Now if only someone could be so knowledgeable and interested into hacking into the RX1 firmware like the Magic Lantern guys did for Canon firmware ... wonder why don't camera makers actually let this happen more easily. I guess it would make them sell MORE not less.
The most important thing to be fixed in my current RX1R would be the 1/80th speed in A mode before it ramps up the AutoISO ....
Wonder if the new body will make ours to be updated.
Not optimistic though :-(

I am putting in a Canon 5D as camera type to have a full frame sensor since the RX1(R) is not in the cameras list. Is this correct even though the dot pitch of the sensor is going to be different ?
The problem I have is how to...

As Ray says with the firmware we have in A mode the shutter speed will drop to 1/80th before ISOs are ramped up therefore A does result in motion/camera shake blur in several situations.
I usually...
Might have some problems asking in this strange language ;-)
If I'm shooting a landscape and would like to have as much as possible in critical focus, how would I judge the in-focus areas at f/16 and f/11 ?
Thanks in advance
Bob

I've set my machine to Manual mode and AutoISO. Most of the times it does an excellent job and prevents some motion blurred images I had gotten...
Lovely shots of a beautiful city (been there once a for two nights a few years back near XMas and could not stop thinking it was Batman's Gotham city) !
Wonder how would the photo of the subway been different if you had the nearest part of the sidewalk in focus instead.
