    Fuji Showcase Konica Hexanon 40/1.8

I love your work with legacy glass, it definitely stands out to me. I jumped into m43 briefly but started getting 'paid' assignments:- family portraits, weddings etc so I now have a couple of D800's and some lenses. Its fine, but i miss having a smaller format for personal use. SO i'm...

    Fuji Today's stupid question...

Do the XM1 & XA1 not have exposure preview in manual mode added to the menu via firmware fix? I briefly recall thinking it had been added.

Fuji Ooh, now here's a question....

Yep, I experienced the same ( and bought your X100). The XPro 1 was 'the' camera of all the X series for me.. But, that sensor is not going to see light of day again (i read that the smearing is here to stay) so I reckon its a case of getting to grips with it or finding another platform. Yet, i...

    Fuji Showcase Konica Hexanon 40/1.8

Truly lovely Mr.D....and I knew they were yours straight away it's a lovely lens, though I only ever tried it with a sony E mount.

Fuji Ooh, now here's a question....

Actually Bill, it's your recent post that made me think. I borrowed my mum's X100s for a couple weeks last summer, needing a wider angle for a wedding I was shooting (first ever). I took it on holiday, then shot the wedding and absolutely HATED it! But....looking back at the files (RAW) they...

Fuji Ooh, now here's a question....

Fuji x100s with 50mm adapter or xe2 with 35mm? Now I'm just curious. I have kinda already made my mind up, but until today I did not know the 50mm afapter for the x100 series even existed. What are your thoughts?

    Fuji Kalahari Bags & Straps

I have a Kalahari bag Mycenius. Lovely little thing I bought from Amazon UK a couple of years ago. Its the one I used to take out to the zoo etc when I had milc gear. I really like it. I see from the website that they do all sorts of cool styles too! I use a Tenba now, which has a zipper for...

    Fuji XE2 body only or XE1 + 18-55mm

It is certainly some thing to contemplate Kyle. I have dogs, and (lots of) children, though I used to have an XPRO1 and 35mm before heading over to Nikon for semi-pro work. I found it to be fantastic, and as much as its nice to have D800's, for things like day trips to the zoo or a family...

    Fuji XE2 body only or XE1 + 18-55mm

Hi, Thanks for the link, I am going to pop over and read that now. Im actually having a crazy moment, and contemplating selling one D800 body and picking up a more current X body (E2/T1) with the 35mm + 56mm. Stupid you think?? I love the D800 but I do miss the EVF and more accurate focus...

    Fuji XE2 body only or XE1 + 18-55mm

Exactly the reasoning that led me here. my brain was fairly set on a more current iteration prior to this kind of pricing. basically the camera is a freebie :D

    Fuji XE2 body only or XE1 + 18-55mm

Finding it hard to choose as both the same price. I prefer XTrans 1 sensor, but like the idea of the improvements on the XE2 (low light AF mostly). But, I consider that's it might be better to invest in the older body with lens. Which would you choose?

Fuji Is it worth picking up an XE1?

That's great to know, thank you. Do you find the XE1 AF significantly improved through FW updates? I certainly did with the XPro.

Fuji Is it worth picking up an XE1?

I had an XPro1 and loved it, then sold it to buy an A99. I did then buy an XM1, but found the lack of certain features a bit of a deal breaker. The XE1 can be had refurbished for under £300, is it worth it? It wouldn't be my main camera, and I presume the AF speed and IQ would be identical...
