This is an album of straight out of camera JPEGS from a wedding booking I had this past weekend. I shot RAW + JPEG (small resolution, normal quality)... these are the JPEGS. My JPEG settings: Classic Chrome, Color set to normal, +1 Highlight tone, +1 Shadow tone, -1 sharpening, white balance...

You need to give some details (what lenses are you using? what film simulation? what are your jpeg/image settings in camera?) and post some samples of images that you're not happy with.

The camera is not the problem. Clearly the X-T1 is capable of incredible images, many time straight out of camera. Study composition and light more, and spec sheets less. Learn post-processing. Getting an A7 solves NONE of your root problems.

I invoiced this lens to a client last week for a separate project, but got to use it for a small NYC elopement this past weekend. From my limited usage, it's a FANTASTIC lens on my X-T1. It's a big hunk of glass, but I guess between small size/optically superb/large aperture... you can only pick...

From an editorial I shot yesterday. Thankful for spring finally arriving in NYC... I get so tired of shooting in studio during the winter! X100T, F2, ND filter On, Classic Chrome base for processing.

I've had more and more clients just ASSUME I do small scale filmmaking for projects as well, they're not even asking anymore.
