Fuji X-T1 vs Pro2 and remote shutter control

..which I wouild consider if it came out as as "rebuild" option for old T1's! -J!

Fuji Canon FD lenses on Fujifilm X-series bodies

The 24/2,8 gives on my Fuji X's a warm, slightly postcard look and sure is sharp enough. The same goes for my 35-105/3,5, one of my favorites. Compared to Fuji , they are not so overwhelmingly breathtaking razorsharp. The 50/1,4 is a different thing, prone to CA, especially with an UV-filter on...

Fuji X-T1 vs Pro2 and remote shutter control

....which is weather sealed, so unless technology has made a quantum leap, X-T1 could have had it! -J!

Fuji X-T1 vs Pro2 and remote shutter control

Agree there are many options, but even with the 4 mentioned the paramount option, mechnical wirem is missing. The USB with a plastic cable, hardening in low temperatures (I live in Mid-Sweden) is not good, smartphone and a touch (untouch too often) screen and self killing battery is a joke. The...

Fuji X-T1 vs Pro2 and remote shutter control

Well, If Fuji would make a rebuild for the shutter to the existing X-T1's I'd be happily surprised. Perhaps Fuji could give the card slot a duality, as it clearly looks to be the idea.. If i get a response, yup, i'll come back! Re the boarding and smartphones, indeed I've seen how wrong it can...

Fuji X-T1 vs Pro2 and remote shutter control

I know, but Nope, the wifi request a smartphone and then I'm relying on the poor battery performance and the poor low temperature durability of the phone. The remote shutter is to reduce shaking, the work to put on the wire release compared to the wifi / menu work is a no brainer for me...

Fuji X-T1 vs Pro2 and remote shutter control

I've got the Cable/USB thing and used to test - and not /never more. compared to an old wire type, the USB is bulkier, increases the cameras size considerabile and opens up for foture contact issues. (so I've gonna try a radios controlled one) The new Pro2 has a wire control if don't see wrong...

Fuji X100S - "why so heavy?"

This was a question I got from my brother-in-law when he saw my X100S (and got excited). But, he meant with modern technique it should be possible to build lighter. I got stunned - interesting question from a person not being a photographer - anyone can comment? I know a light camera increases...
