My advice is to not worry so much about the underwater part. Good photography under water is exponentially more difficult than you may think. Lighting is difficult and visibility is generally poor, even in a clear swimming pool. A splash proof bag might get you the pictures you are after. If...

I have a love/hate relationship with my RX100 I. I love the results but I really hate the camera. The controls are bad, it lacks minimum shutter speed settings and it wants to focus on the wrong thing. That said DOF aside, the images are stunning.

Just imagine if it had a fuji jpeg engine! That's my one worry, I love shooting jpeg and I'm in for a lot of raw work now as I don't like Panasonic jpegs.

I'm in the same boat, I dumped my XE-1 and quite a few other cameras because I just had too many systems. I'm down to Nikon Dx and M43, but I kept the 35mm 1.4 in case the X-E2s go down closeout prices.

I think it's a great way to get around the minimum advertised price absurdity. The good guys can't list great prices and the scammers keep on truckin. This levels the field a bit.

I had something similar, I believe it was a Relisys Dimera 3500. More a toy than anything else but I used it a lot for eBay pictures and was still shooting film for real pictures then. I think my first real compact was a Finepix 4700 and my first DSLR was a Fuji S1.

I loathed my initiallly, but have grown to just a moderate dislike. The problem I have is there is nothing similar in size that can deliver similar results.
