Open Challenges!

CF card adapter question

Hi This may sound like an odd question, but I gave recently purchased an old Sony A100 which takes a CF card, which I am expecting any day now. If I bought a CF card / micro sd card adapter, (as my tablet only has a micro sd card slot) would this impair the image quality at all, or is it just a bad idea? Thankyou Boz
