It seems Gary has already placed his RAY pre-order and the rest of you have been hit with a bout of R.A.S....I'm not so sure I'm digging the retro styling.

I'm still holding out until they release a newer model of Ray with a corner-mounter EVF. If it doesn't happen I'm ditching my Ray gear and going all-Gary. He seems to understand what "real photographers" need. At least they're both available in silver, I guess

Gary, is not the New Ray. (Regardless of my personal feelings on this subject.)
Given the recent popularity of Rays, that would really boost the value of an original Ray... Gotta find me one while I still can!

Okay I was messing with Nik Silver Efex and a conversion with a red filter worked wonders to bring up the shadows in Ray's badly lighted face.
And another one fooling around with Nik Silver Efex of a shot while waiting for Ray -- with a much grungier feel.

I'm not going to get a Ray. Because if I get a Ray, then I'll get a Livnius. And then I'll sell my Ray and get a Gary, and I'll be doing forever comparisons of Gary to Livnius, then I'll have to get a Luke, because I wouldn't want to be left out, then I'll end up listing my Gary, Livnius and Luke to re-buy a Ray (or maybe an XRay, the new version), and it would just go on and on. I don't even want to start down that road.
