A trio of sunset pics tonight over Edinburgh, UK

Nice set, chilliman - I particularly like the second.
I was thinking that you'd gone a little quiet on here lately. It occurred to me that you might have been spending more time out shooting. Of course, for all I know, you might just have gone down the pub! (Now there's a thought!:D)

I do admin looking after a local fishing club Clickity Click website & forum, been up to my ears in stuff updating the website, putting latest newsletter together and emailing to over 250 members, creating backups of current and historical files and storing them offsite, as well as changing web hosts for my own webspace after appalling customer service. Just got up to date this afternoon. Now I can relax a bit until the end of this month then it's busy all over again. Seen how the sun was setting tonight, the location where photos were taken is only a five min drive from the house, so off i went.

Might have some fishy looking pics over the weekend from the competition. :D

A couple of photo's from a Pink concert I went to earlier in the week. RX100 @ ISO1600. JPG captures.

The RX100 is a solid concert camera, I've found. It's got deep, noise-free blacks. Good/easy EV control. Good colors. The only thing it's lacking is a bit of zoom, though I find the high megapixel count to help for cropping. still, it would be supplemented nicely by a camera with a bright zoom, but for wide-angle/in-the-crowd shots, yet being easy to pack in/out, it really excels.

I recently picked up this camera. After recommending it to a few people, who were then quite pleased with it, I decided I should have one too!:) I also got the Sony filter adapter so I could use the 49 mm filters I already have for my Pentax limiteds. This shot was taken mid-day with a B&W 10 stop ND filter.

LETCHWORTH?!?! I went to undergrad about 20-30 minutes away from there. Never thought I'd see an online posting of the falls, lol.

Beautiful local, and great shot.

Hi all, just got back from a week walking round the Sintra area and a day in Lisbon. The RX100 stood up admirably. Here are a few of my artier efforts...

Very nice shots - and very recognisably Portugal. We went there last year (Portugal, but not Sintra/Lisbon area), and I found it very enjoyable for photography in general. Unfortunately, I didn't have the RX100 at the time... and, looking back, I certainly wish that I had!

Thanks for posting these.(y)

The last one had some PP in ColorEfexPro, the logs just a bit of sharpening in Picasa. Others SOOC.

Great shots ! Been there before and loved it.
