ty. we call him Q', short for Quiche. he was on the phone when he turned around and i quickly snapped. i didn't notice till later that he sneaked the tongue in. i'm not really in the habit of reviewing my images after they're shot especially on a mirrorless. at least for street shooting.

i'm sure it did, but that nex7 is long gone. i still have my a77 (which has the same sensor but may not even matter). i just tried it out, and you see the blackout on both evf and live view, but it's very momentarily. even shorter on the evf. this is even with electronic front curtain set to 'on'. i think with electronic shutters, even they will black out because it has to end exposure. so, wysiwyg.
