Sigma Sigma DP Series Image Thread

I repeated the last one to show how the gorgeous bokeh at f8 becomes even more gorgeous at f3.2 - but as the detail remains stunningly constant it is difficult to chose between them.

I prefer the f3.2 one myself. The subject isolation with the bokeh is great and the pots in the background can kind of be distracting. They are wonderful shots.

testing out a DP2M camera

Just a quick snap to show off my now complete set of OVFs for my three Sigma DPxMs. The Sigma ones are fine - plastic construction but nice optics. The Voigtlander is definitely superior - brass construction, nicer to use if you wear glasses like myself. Got the two Sigma finders for £120/$199 each as part of the UK Sigma price drop, and the Voigtlander for £90/$149 new on eBay. Can't wait to try them out in the field!

I've just taken delivery of a Hoodman hoodloupe . I just can't get used to, Not bringing my cameras to my eye.
I will give my verdict later after a short dog walk.

Thats better. Good enough for composition in bright light . Controls seem easier to navigate having a wall to the left of your thumb.
Best of all, a more stable camera when hand held. Looks like grads will be easier to place too.
I like it. I didn't buy the expensive hoodman rubber band, I just used a couple of normal heavy duty ones. Worked a treat.
The Hoodman 3.0 seems to be made for the Merrill..
I wish they did a 45 or 90 degree one for tripod use.

Thanks for the review. I am considering one for the fuji (and the to-be-acquired DP3). Your comments are very helpful.
