Sony Showcase Sony A7 and 7r Image thread

Like both the shots.
I'm impressed with the Flektogon 35/2.4.
Too bad I just let one slip in the local forums BnS, not knowing what to expect.
I'll look out for one next time. :)

First I wasn't impressed with the Flek. But after a few shots and with the A7 there could be build a unique touch.
For the details I used the raw converter Photo Ninja who is good in this for a first step in processing.

What do you do at the perfect sunrise location with everything setup, when a wedding couple approaches you for permission to use that same spot for their wedding photo?

Get angry?
Get in the way?

Its a once in a lifetime thing.
So I let then use the spot.
Also thought that they would actually add something to the pict :D

'Stole' the flash off the couple's photographer by dragging the shutter.

Thanks.
I am using the A50/1.4, though its often said that they are the same in optical design since the 7-element takumar.
The thing about these Pentax 50's are that they provide a lot for the price and has the qualities that I like about their lenses.
Generally smallish, well built, contrasty with rich colors and a good balance of bokeh/sharpness.

As for the adapter, its one of those cheap ones off ebay.
Do note some things about such adapters in general.
1. Make sure they have a pict where you can see the inside of the adapter mount area and see if there is any 'tension mechanism' to give a tight fit. (this mechanism is better on some makes than others)
2. Make sure the adapter is matt black on the inside to prevent reflection. (I had to paint quite a few of mine)

Ha..ha..
The A7/r sure opens up doors to LBA. :)

Thats the problem here.
Too many good 50's out there.
I was considering the FE55 but just committed on a Cron DR 50mm today. :)

I'm curious about the Leica 'look' and performance, though at the back of my head, I have doubts its 8x better than this Pentax 50/1.4
the pictures are looking good. here's a good one to consider...

the ar 50 1,7 is excellent especially for the price.
