Sigma Sigma DP Series Image Thread

We're forever being told about the tragic consequences of shooting a DP higher than 100 or at best 200 ISO.
I beg to differ. These shots were taken with a standard non Merrill DP2 with a Sigma AML 2 close up attachment lens.
All were quickly taken and were hand held . Ignore the fading ( bleaching ) effect at the corners as this was done in Picasa
to wash out the vivid red background and concentrate on the watches.
All shots with lens wide open at 2.8

ISO 400 at 1/ 30th sec

They seem good to me even at ISO 800 ? - I suppose even better with a tripod and decent lighting, but certainly not unusable.
