Cracking shot

In Oswiecim in December, while waiting for the train back to Krakow, we stood on the bridge crossing the railway tracks. Oswiecim was once known as Auschwitz. The tracks below the bridge, at one time, led the trains right into the heart of Birkenau. That night Oswiecim was almost like a ghost town, only occasionally did we catch a small glimpse of life. When we did, I felt inclined to scarper away. I don't know if it was just because it was cold, dark and foggy. There was a real chill in the air. I just didn't like being there and I was relieved, an hour later, when our train finally arrived. We could leave.

This is a haunting shot, the location obviously plays a major part but stunning quality from such a small package

Good to see you back on here - nice pic too. I'd noticed that you had disappeared for while.

Your RX100 is still going strong then? Mine's still doing great service.(y)

Hi all, just introduced myself at the appropriate forum, so now it's time to post my first results from my new RX100M3 in this dedicated image thread. I took them yesterday evening when I took a small walk at the Zuidlaarder Lake nearby my home town.
Nothing fancy, but the ooc jpeg's impressed me. The photo's have been touched up a little in Snapseed. Resized in FastStone IR. That's all. I hope you like them and don't hesitate to provide C&C if you feel like it.
