I would normally do whatever possible to shoot at the the lowest ISO possible. With the X Vario however, I'm getting more and more addict to high ISO shooting even in daylight because the grain pattern is too beautiful to avoid!
I still have a hard time setting any camera above ISO 400, the Kodacolor and Tri-X limit. But modern digital cameras are just amazing. So- pull out the stops, and get existing light shots.
I'm becoming addicted to the XV high ISO grain. It's what makes I it a faster camera than even my 5D MK3!
Its slow lens yes, but when you can use and print it's files without problem at ISO 3200 it becomes fast.
No need to mention that grain in B&W. Heaven.
