W/NW Color Portraits

18th birthday party. First time I have used the double exposure thing....and I was drunk at the time, on home made wine (pear!) This is just with the 16-55, no idea what settings, probably f5.6. What struck me was how good the XT2 is at 12,800 having been used to film where 400 was horrendously high....I think I might be exploring above 400 on digital a bit more often.

Rav, love your portrait work, as always! However, I do think I prefer the street portraits you shoot using the O25 f/1.8. I find them quite magical! The portraits here seem quite a bit softer and have a different "feel", which some might prefer. The portraits shot with the O25 f/1.8 have a sharpness/grittiness that, for me at least, suits the subject matter a bit better.

For those here, that haven't seen Rav's street portrait work on the sister mu-43 forum, do yourself a favor and check it out. Btw Rav, are you going to shoot both systems going forward, or have you completely switched to Fuji?

Hey thanks for your kind words. The xe3 is send to me by Fujifilm India so I can just use and share my experience and thoughts on social media and my blog. I just received the camera yesterday so I am kind of figuring out. Regarding the output the Fuji files atleast on my screen look nice that I don't even feel like doing any PP on it.
Yes even if I get into Fuji system I will keep my m43 system. Thanks again for your feedback and kind words

Great portraiture work here and also on mu-43 forum. I find that forum display limitations can sometimes mean that images are downsampled and appear 'softer'. This isn't necessarily a reflection of the camera but a need to ensure that pages load fast and can display reasonably on mobile device.
