Children

Not being in a hurry works for me. Kids are all different and can take some time to get used to having a camera pointed at them. Let them get used to you, interact with them, get down to their level and have fun!

Your children are such a bunch of cuties! My "child" is now in her twenties...but I don't think I'll add her in here.:wink_old:

For those of you who do have young children beware the way time will start to speed up! Keep taking those memorable shots!
 
So I took some pics of the kids last night. This time though, I wanted to get comfortable with the built-in B & W in X100s, which I heard were outstanding. Until this time I've only shot colored and converted the files to B&W via Lightroom. I wanted to see how the files will turn out, without a fallback. :) I think it performed really really well.
