A real ad for Nikon eyeglass lenses. WTF?? Really???

I wonder if Fujifilm will sue? I also wonder if Nikon's marketing team that came up with this will get fired?

Why? I doubt RayBan will sue over use of their frames to advertise Nikon's spectacles glass.

Ultimately, although we know it's one of the X100 range, I'd hope Fuji would be flattered. Nikon isn't going to use one of their own cameras as that would make it look like a camera advertisement. Something that doesn't carry obvious branding is, IMO, a much better choice.

I see it differently.

Some numb-nuts millennial in an ad agency, with no knowledge of cameras, picked a stock shot of a camera that looked "heritage" (if you Google the words "old school camera" an X100 is the very first image hit) and they came up with that. Bear in mind the structure of Nikon - left-hand, right hand, springs to mind. The person who should be disciplined is the bod who signed off on this.
