Apologies - I've been lurking here for a while now. Just too much work and family commitments over the past year or so. And in all the busyness I find myself taking lots of pics, but seldom get the opportunity to sit back and review my photos and actually enjoy the results.
So, with the end of year break coming up I'm catching up on my outstanding to-do list - one of which is to actually post some pics on this forum.
I'm originally from South Africa and now live in NW England. My journey with Fuji started way back with their bridge cameras (S7000, S9500, HS20, HS50 and X10) during the period when film was definitely on the way out but I thought that digital quality was not yet worth the huge investment required. I'm now fully invested into the X-series. I'm just not sure that I like the retro build style of the Fuji-X camera design - but that's a discussion for another day.
The pics I'm posting were shot a few Sundays back during a rainy sunset on the A49 arterial road heading south, just outside of Warrington, my current home town. Shot on the X-T2 and my favourite 'do it all' lens - the 18-135.
Wishing all Forumites a Merry Christmas and a Prosperous and Satisfying New Year.
Dave Lazzarich.
