Sorry, I'm out of ideas. Our SSL cert is good (a brand new cert actually, installed yesterday), the DNS name servers are good, the server IP move seems to have propagated out, everything on the server itself seems to be good.No good. I asked my IT guy to take a look.
Excellent! Did the IT guys mention if it was a case of their network proxy blocking it or was their a technical reason? It's all better. I requested (to IT) that this site be allowed and evidently it is now allowed. Thanks for your efforts, kevin.
Totally unrelated to what drd1135 was running into but I've been hammering away trying to figure out why I couldn't reach Cameraderie from our work network. Cameraderie is on the same server as another forum of mine, that site I can reach with no problem but not this one. Even after getting the SSL cert updated and submitting Cameraderie to the company that does the ratings for our corporate network (Blue Coat if anybody is interested) I was still getting blocked.Unfortunately I am also blocked from our corporate network.
It was white listed. They said nothing. I just clicked on the site and it worked. I suspect they white listed it but I will ask.
Any chance we work for the same company (a certain major telecommunications company) and are crossing paths? It was white listed.
I work at a university. I think they outsource some of the security, however.Any chance we work for the same company (a certain major telecommunications company) and are crossing paths?
